Today I went to my favourite cafe in Nara and found my friends there. He was playing Beethoven's 31st sonata. I hurriedly had a cup of chai, ordered biscuits and left for the Nara Hotel. The sunset was stunning. At the dinner, I heard about the prison in Nara that had been converted into a hotel.

The picture book "Asaichi あさいち (The Morning Market) by Kakuya Oishi, published in 1980, depicting the lively scenery of the morning market in Wajima Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture, will be revived.

i visited kochi prefecture, hearing a lot of kochi - kochi (cochin) jokes. were they even jokes?? bought tons of local snacks, including five packs of kambaage かんばあげ... fried snack of sweet potato and rice... it's light and crispy cracker, costs 300 yen per pack. also tried some age-imo-manjus 揚げ芋饅頭
