In the teaser, when Vox says this line, Luci's silhouette shows up. Then in the trailer, Vox and Lucifer's badass sequences here are also back to back. THAT'S when it clicked into my mind that Lucifer's never been shown to have electrical powers and it got the ball rolling ehehe

While I do agree with you, in this teaser pic you can see the apple on the left side of his hat. THIS Lucifer is real. There are other things teased about s2 that suggest his appearance there, so I don't think we need to worry ehehe 💗

The "fire" is not real so nothing is being "burned." Unless the animating and compositing is different in season 2, the flames from the trailer look jagged and dim. In the finale, Lucifer's fire has rounded curves, licks like flames do, and burn into an almost bright amorphous plasma state

+1 There is a real emphasis on hallucinations, media manipulation, and false icons in all the teasers we've gotten so far. Not to mention the parallels between the advanced technological feats that Heaven and Vox both share. Both sides worry about Lucifer too

aaa thanks zimmy! 🥰😘💖 Initially, I thought that was a "flame off" thing, but even goofy ass in-between forms Luci has the hellflame. Whether it's angelic fire or just because Luci's been in Hell for millennia, it's not something Vox can replicate, I think

I want to add that, sure, Luci might become more protective of the hotel in the future, but he wouldn't attack another institution outright to do it. When Adam died, he could have killed Lute and sent forces into Heaven, but he just told them to go home. Politely, even. "I'll never turn to violence"

Extra bonus: The flames are dim and not touching the stage, as if they're a projection. To me, this looks like a grand holographic display meant to paint a picture of what Lucifer could do in the future. It's the opening act to Vox's rally and part of his smear campaign against the hotel

Lucifer would never burn the Vee tower lol. He watched Charlie's hotel, his old home, burn right before his very eyes and didn't lift a finger. Pain and destruction goes against his very ethos as a character and sullies his pride (5/5)

Luci's demon form is missing his signature hellflame. Maybe a power Vox can't replicate? (his bow tie and thick brows are also missing, but that could just be animation variances) (4/?)

When Lucifer conjures his magic, he ALWAYS emits sparkles. There are no sparkles in any of his shots in the trailer (3/?)

OF COURSE 💖💖 So at Planet Anime KC, the cast was asked "Who would you punch?" The obvious answers were Valentino, Adam, etc., but Brandon said, "I wanna punch Lucifer. HEY nobody should be THAT happy!!"

Same girl 😂 And no problem! I think this shot of Charlie may give us the answer: opera glove that dissolves into her demon design. So, maybe it's the same for Lucifer? Luci has so many in between demon forms that any depiction of his ombre arms could just be chalked up to that and still be canon 🤭

thanks omg! 🥰💖💖 The more I study Lucifer's hands, the less I understand 😂 My current theory is: his gloves are gray and he wears his ring over them in his regular form, but his demon form has the ombre, gradient arms 🔥 (and yet no ring!) It brings up a lot of questions 👀
It seems to be really inconsistent, which, to me, suggests he is wearing gloves? I don't think the errors would exist if his character sheet just said they were his hands ^^;; And his animal forms have no gray either (but then other parts of his suit? it's so confusing 😅)
