I'm pretty sure pro-q lets you do this when you set a band to be dynamic - you could probably set up a de-esser to do the same thing if you have one that accepts sidechain inputs

i suppose at its heart it goes along with trend of AI shafting practice, discipline, and play in favour of convenience, but when it comes to music and especially guitar - are those exact things not the point of it all?

it's not even really useful for creating a custom "dream" amplifier - there's been software on the market for around decade that lets you swap power and preamplifier tubes, tune the biases of components, etc - and even then, you'd have to be a bit of a geek to understand the benefits of such things.
