That one fanart of him by @Unrealien1 has always stood out as the pinnacle of heroism in my eyes. Seeing a burly lizardman risk it all to protect the innocent...I'm going to do that for one of my own stories, mark my words!

To summarize: "A down on her luck working-class Superhero and a reluctant minion of a Supervillain struggle to make ends met and stay true to their values while working under their power-hungry and idiotic bosses."

The rest of the dinosaurs look pretty much fantastic. I didn't expect to be so in love with how they colored the Corythosaurus and the Hadrosaurs here. The Spinosaurus also looks LEAGUES better than the JW:R version (and those designs grew on me). Can't wait to see them in action.

As for the T-Rex, while I am somewhat discouraged by how obvious the resemblance is to JP's Rex, at LEAST it has several factors that make it distinct enough to not be a total letdown, including lips, obvious patterns, and even sexual dimorphism.

Let's get this out of the way. Yes, it's disappointing that a movie ostensibly distancing itself from the Jurassic Park franchise contains designs that blatantly copy its homework. That Apatosaurus is particularly inexcusable.

...which in retrospect is funny because in the film proper that shot's followed by the beast becoming almost adorably inquisitive and walking away like nothing happened.

Why yes, a stiff plastic Plesiosaur prop kept five-year old me up at night with that paralyzing roar (I didn't know what TIE Fighters were) and that shot of it bearing down on the viewer, fog billowing out of its mouth...

As someone currently writing a series about a Superhero (and a dragon) trying to be a good person despite the unrelenting cynicism in their world, it really was exactly what the doctor ordered.
