worst thing about all of this too is that, test automation companies all bought into ai, at least a little bit, and in turn its making ALL test automation packages worse. they nag you about using them and slow down the entire package even if you don’t, not to mention the licensing changes

the thing is test automation software for basic testing already exists, it can set up a full package if you script it right, it can report back and notify you of failure or issues, if you script it right.
its gonna do nothing for the software tests, its just gonna slow down dev and break in the end

the only things you can generally automate in qa is basic functional tests, basic config setup, does it connect to the server, does the update run right, etc.
anything else needs a person with actual understanding to, for one find the issues in the first place and for two reproduce and report them

this type of shit is so funny to me, i literally work qa at a company and the way all these fucking ai qa companies position themselves is so fucking genuinely stupid. i do qa on fucking office software and this shit already doesnt work. squenix aint gonna replace shit, it’s bound to fucking fail
