I realized trying to be the best artist I could be has taken all the fun and joy out of drawing for me. I just stopped because I got so wrapped up in being a good artist I didn't stop to think about what art I wanted to make. We need to make sure we don't lose focus of the things we love.

if you only want to draw one thing? you draw that one thing as much as you want! fuck the rules! fuck all that do what you want to do. Fuck art school telling you to only do realism do whatever you want! You want to only draw flowers? Then just do that!!
