I understand the ideas that went into this series of scenes, but it really does get dragged down by how bad the heroes look and fails to show the off villains well by extension.

They are not strong individually and have no grand plan, but they have unimaginable numbers and can destroy everything if given a real opportunity. 0.2 spent a good chunk of it’s story building that up.

I’m actually completely fine with Heartless swarm killing them all. I feel that the whole thing is a reminder that the Heartless are the ultimate threat of the series.

I don’t mind the heroes having losses as a result, but they really just come off as inept. Sora, Riku, and Mickey especially. Sora makes some poor decisions while Riku and Mickey just stand there. I think they did, but I always remember them having not even summoned their Keyblades.

Yeah, this scene is not considered one of the better ones. It’s probably the most complained about scenes in the series. I don’t really mind them treating Terra-Xehanort like a juggernaut. He is, on paper, the strongest of the 13 and only a few have ever seen him fight.

I like him

While defeating Lingering Will might not be something you want to do, I do recommend seeing the cutscene for entering it once. For the most part, that is where the majority of the lore is in most KH superbosses.

Ultima Weapon isn't really necessary for the secret bosses. It's good, but not that incredible of an upgrade.
