Old, tired and grumpy. Oh sorry, wrong glasses. Apparently that should be “old, tiresome and grumpy” according to Mr S, god love ‘im.
Well the radiator cover just fell off the wall and Mr S came home with an injured dove which is now in a basket in the study and no bloody wildlife rescue or emergency vet wants to know. How’s your Friday?

Found a lovely property on Rightmove, lots of land, no neighbours, good price. Just not sure I can face all the redecorating.

Unlike most of our postcode we still have power but I doubt it will last. The phone line is jumping around like a demented skipping rope so doubt comms will last either. Worst of all is my beloved greenhouse on the patio. Its not meant to be on the patio.

Bless the poor little elf picking my groceries this morning who thought tampons were a good substitute for panty liners. I’m 64 my bird, haven’t had a period in more years than I can remember!

This is not a small local business by the way, I wouldn’t even be asking the question! It’s high -end global fashion type thing.
Right chaps, it’s Moral Maze time:
Have received a reasonably high-value item ( low £hundreds) which I attempted to order 10 days ago but received no confirmation email and no money seems to have been taken from credit card. Keep or return (or pay for) ?

Hung a picture today and in the process hit my thumb with the hammer not once but twice. Looks nice though (the picture, not the thumb. The thumb is red and purple and throbs like an utter bastard).

I have progressed from tea to cognac as my covid jab arm now feels like it wants to drop off, run away and join the Foreign Legion. Cognac has strong anaesthetic qualities I’m told. Never touch the stuff normally *attempts to tap nose and misses*

Just been to Helston for my covid jab. Truly living the life of an international jetsetter, me.
Got my feet up with a cuppa and a bag of Maltesers now though mind. Steady on girl!
