Always so impressed by folks who can consistently run while working in healthcare. As a 7-on 7-off hospitalist, I also tell myself I’m gonna run on every off day. But, lets just say my mileage hasnt piled up the way I often imagine it to… 😣

I also should declare my own of conflict of interest: I’m a new dad, I’m always looking for someone or something to blame for my perpetual exhaustion. 😵

I buy clothes when I absolutely need to, but when it comes to jacket/fleece, I never feel like I have enough. Goes with both 🩺 jackets and🏃🏻‍♂️ jackets. Jacket math makes no sense 🤷‍♂️

I advise my residents to choose their “more desired set of problems” when comparing offers. There will always be problems, but no one can articulate just how significant a problem is besides the applicants themselves. Often it comes down to making accurate personal assessments and being self aware.
