Art is almost never solely about 'talent.' Talent only gets an artist so far. It's putting in the work to make those pieces and to bring them out. And LBR, trying to survive can be a killing factor in creative drive.

Time and time again, artists get the short end of the stick. Society loves what they produce, but hates them because they don't do the 'hard labor,' and/or are envious about being able to create from 'nothing.'

These reasons are why The Slop is rampant.

It's 'outlandish' in this sense because it gives artists a place they can be safe, and do what they love...and call it 'home' without having to worry about paying another bill on top of the others.
