Thanks @fbenoy.bsky.social for all the questions and for not falling for the mayor's distractions. We're currently making plans to review the database.

Et hällt net op, ne?

Ech mengen de @fbenoy.bsky.social wollt muer am Gemengerood e puer Froë stellen. Wann dir iech dat undot, hu mir fir iech e klengen Bingo präparéiert

What was @luxembourgcity.bsky.social trying to hide?

Turns out: not much — unless you know the law.

Then it gets wild: The City didn’t just bend the rules. They invented a parallel legal universe. 🌀👩‍⚖️

We now know: the MMTP agreement never existed.

BREAKING: Events are unfolding rapidly and we commend @luxembourgcity.bsky.social for their cooperation - finally.

We have just received the requested documents.

We're digesting it, may anonymize it where appropriate and then we can wrap up Safe Crossing pt. 1
June 5, 2025 at 1:45 PM
We’re still going through the court ruling, but here’s a bombshell:

The mayor said the crossing note couldn’t be published to “protect her staff.”

Turns out…

The note itself includes a request from staff of the circulation department to send it to the press. 🧵👇

Yesterday’s radio spin tried to paint us as a “security threat.”
Today our donations curve looks like this 👇

Thanks for the unexpected boost, @Lydie Polfer —turns out misinformation is one powerful fundraiser. 🦓💚

The last thing you see before getting mansplained Luxembourg’s political center.

What about party balance?
Turns out RTL’s guest list kind of mirrors parliament — if you average the last two elections.

Except:
🟥 The left gets shafted a little bit (as usual).

Zooming in on 2024–2025:
Paulette Lenert vanished (Covid’s over?), and Alexandra Schoos was added to the right-wing playlist.

So yeah, shifts happen.
April 30, 2025 at 9:15 AM
Some say: “It’s always the same people.”
So we checked.

Top 5 repeat guests from 1,500 shows:
1. Fernand Kartheiser: 25x
2. Paulette Lenert: 25x
3. Sven Clement: 25x
4. Taina Bofferding: 25x
5. Patrick Dury: 24x

RTL loves Covid (PL) and the Neo-Right (FK).
April 30, 2025 at 9:15 AM
First thing that stood out when scrolling the archives: it’s a lot of men.

Turns out, we weren’t imagining things.
👉 Less than 30% of the guests are women.

We made the Tageblatt front page - whooop! Want your own ZUG superhero poster. Buy Tageblatt! (Sorry, we can’t send you the article. Can’t afford Tageblatt? - check out your library)

Fresh out of court (again) after fighting for your right to know.

Tired of bureaucracy and bad excuses?

Meet GeLATO—the tool that helps you file FOIA requests in Luxembourg. No lawyers. No nonsense.

🍦 Tasty transparency, one scoop at a time.

Just out of court.

Our arguments? Solid.
The City of Luxembourg? Let’s say… passionately improvised.

Both sides fought hard. We’re hopeful the first judgment will be confirmed—but hey, it’s court, you never know. Thanks for your support.

Stay tuned.

The email chain of doom is coming to an end. Our lawyers and ZUG have wrapped up our final memoire de réponse.

We will keep telling the court that @luxembourgcity.bsky.social cannot use our case to sneakily attack the freedom of information act. The first tribunal was clear on our rights.

A month to go and we're at 50% of our funding goal. We love you guys! If you're bored on a Thursday evening, please send zug.lu/donate to 5 of your friends and explain to them why this doesn't only affect pedestrian rights, but actually affects government transparency much more now.

March 11, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Wow wow wow wow! We have raised more than 1500€ so far for our appeal! That makes us super happy. We're getting there. On April 24 we'll be in court again - so we've got a little more than a month to raise the remaining contributions!
