Back in college anytime I made a Pandora station that was just "songs/bands I like" and not targeted at a specific type of music I'd get recommended Phoenix and NOTHING about them did it for me. Maybe now I'd be into it but at the time, nope.

Both my parents were teachers before retiring and I know for sure they bought supplies for their own classrooms, and my dad had a second job. They did alright for themselves in the end but not because of the school system
