once my setup is completely setup again and i can properly power my usb switch either externally or through the Mac, this is easily going to be the main recording machine. it's the perfect machine to keep around mics

with either them changing their TOS, going out of business, breaking user trust with AI or something equally stupid, etc. I like having as much control over my own content as possible.
