If cursor only wasn’t based on vs code…

So used to JetBrains IDE‘s by now it‘s hard to switch away. But I guess you‘ve been using VS Code before right?

Have you ever tried reflex.dev?

I think people can go full python if they only do webapps… Reflex uses radix primitives in the generated components.
Reflex · Web apps in Pure Python
The open-source framework to build and deploy web apps using Python.

Ah I looked into some software solutions but apps like netflix don’t really work with them. For example github.com/kyleneideck/...

I assume it’s because of pirating protection.
GitHub - kyleneideck/BackgroundMusic: Background Music, a macOS audio utility: automatically pause your music, set individual apps' volumes and record system audio.

Hey! Just saw this and had to think of our conversation www.ft.com/content/c53a...

This is exactly why you should invest outside S&P, it’s super heavy at the top. Since the money in an index is often distributed by Market Cap you over invest in tech massively.

If Nvidia flips you take a dip.

Only thing you’ll miss is the audio mixer from Windows^^

Still the dumbest thing about MacOS that apple doesn’t make one.

You could add some MSCI ex USA or Eurostoxx or Emerging Markets.

Personally I’d probably add MSCI ex USA and just be done with it (no financial advice 😅)

Well for of tech gains I wouldn’t trust europe either^^ (I’m German btw).

Do you want to maximize returns but accept the higher risk or even it out a little?

The point of diversification really is that you don’t just trust in tech/US but spread the risk across countries and industries.

Diversify even more. S&P is pretty high tech and 500 is actually not that many companies.

True, it’s been performing better than i.e. MSCI world (bc of tech) but still it’s wise to spread out the money.

You could buy some extra european or emerging markets index just to balance a bit.

Standard Instinct 2 (non-solar)

I had “proper” smartwatches (samsung, fitbit) for some time but concisely decided to cut down and just use a watch that has all fitness basics plus notifications.

Fyi, the garmin app is not great 😅

Been asking that myself for like 2 years now… Would only be worth it when wanting to also wear a classic watch imo

I personally have a Garmin and only use it to track hikes and workouts but all the other health features I don’t really use anymore.

I'm running an M2 16GB Air (bought before they lowered the price 🥲)... Works perfectly for me, I also do React/Typescript plus many tabs in Edge.

It can get a bit warm if you run for long times but doubt that's better with the newer version.
