I will never understand people going by car (especially near monumental buildings) when public transport is so damn good

For us (1 car household to 0), it required us to live in a city with amazing public transport, okish bike lanes, and car rental options. Plus, okish train connection to the city my wife's family lives on. Then, I was finally able to convince her.

They have installed one such street in Vienna (Argentinenstraße) but for now, it looks that the only thing they have copied was the red color. I had to fight with cars the other day... I hope it will get better with critical mass of bicycles
