That sounds like a wonderful setup! What OS did you install? And have you considered Lightwhale Linux?

Ah, great! Hm, a little too late to the party, but I wonder if it's possible to drive enough power off a gpio pin to light a led chain for a Christmas tree...

Nice. Can you please elaborate on "PicoW for interfacing to sensors"?

I did a little digging, and the docs (docs.docker.com/engine/swarm...) state that "The docker stack deploy command uses the legacy Compose file version 3" which is specified here: github.com/docker/compo...
It's misleading that it's called "legacy", since it's the actual `docker stack` format.

docs.docker.com/engine/depre... -- Again, this is Classic Swarm.

Hi again. I just confirmed with the folks over at the Docker Discord channel, and Swarm is definitely not dead or EOL. But the old, and already discontinued Docker Classic Swarm is apparently going away. This is great news! It means you're fee to boot #Lightwhale and do your Swarm Thing again! ;)

Or maybe you're smart enough not to install it? #Lightwhale and Kind can help you get started if you're really set on that path. In practice, though, Docker Swarm is enough for most* k8s projects.

*Actually, _all_ that I've worked on professionally — if you want an opinionated reality check ;)

Ahoy, captains! Maybe you would be interested in my hobby project: An operating system specifically for running Docker, but without the hassle of running an operating system. I call it #Lightwhale and you can read more and download it here: lw.asklandd.dk/--bsdc

Urfh, I really hope your conclusion is wrong, because I need Swarm. I'll see if I can get time to verify it some time.

How did you reach to that conclusion?
