That's worst with small children who are likely to smash the next car when they open the car door. And the wider parent / child spaces are often taken by people without children or with older, even grown up children. England is not great for accessible parking.

As long as it fits, it shouldn't be an issue. I've had more problems with tiny cars parking across multiple spaces.
