Everything I read in November. The fiction was all a lot more fun this month. Most of the non-fiction was at least alright, but the horror fiction I read for this month was just superb all around.

Just in time for Thanksgiving break, I finally have a complete draft of my book! Still an utterly overwhelming amount to edit and trim (like, say, ~10,000 words), but it feels great to have a solid starting point. Now someone give me pumpkin pie, please.

I'm participating in a student production today where they have to imitate the lighting/camera work in a movie scene. Today's scene is the opening debate from Clueless, and I'm playing Mr. Hall. I can't tell if I should be offended that they see me as Wallace Shawn or honored since he's iconic

Less than 100 days until my book manuscript is due. I'm making steady progress here and am definitely not worried about meeting the deadline (at this point), but it still feels bizarre and a bit frightening to pass this particular threshold...

Decided to personalize my profile here a bit more and added a banner photo -me at 18, as caught by Christopher Nolan's cameras shooting extras for the stadium sequence in The Dark Knight Rises. I always wait to strategically pull this one out in class to maximize the amount of cred it can get me
