Analysis of macrophages in melanoma metastasis of aged mice identified elevated expression of TREM2 (also seen in human melanoma). Inhibition of TREM2 blocked metastatic spread in preclinical mouse studies. Marzia Scortegagna led the study at SBP Discovery. Read more at:
