Did we really elect a Labour Government? I do not recognise them as the guardians of fairness and equality - how do they justify cutting benefits when they could easily raise the funds required from a wealth tax, and/or taxing capital gains properly?

For 7 weeks I didn’t read the news, today I did. Can’t believe nothing has changed - Trump and his billionaire stooges are still destroying US democracy and no one seems to be fighting back. Do the Democrats have a leader? Someone needs to step up and unite and focus the opposition.

We used to live in New Zealand and I’m beginning to think we’d be much safer there. What a scary world we live in.
