Cool! I had the same trajectory, with two years off between ugrad & grad.

All three points are great advice! I think this one applies to journal editing too. Except, it’s almost impossible for editors to apply plagiarism or other fraud consequences in any meaningful way.

There’s always manual data entry from paper copies of the congressional record 🤣

This is boilerplate text offered in many manuscript submission systems. I’ve asked, but Wiley says they can’t edit it. Until then, I desk reject papers choosing this option from the dropdown menu.
