it feels founded on the belief that it is Extremely Vital to change these peoples minds when a fair portion of them are going to think about calling you a slur no matter what you say. if youre engaging with the rare one who wont, it wont be long before the one who will finds your post too

anyway im saying this bc i saw a post alleging this site is an echo chamber for the left and therefore will not create change or something, and its like. engaging with the right is what they want because its easier to be quippy and wrong and seem to dominate conversation than it is to be correct
