I mostly dump art of my Catclismo x MLP OC Hyacinth.

Minors and Politicians DNI.
Pinned
This is Hyacinth, the titular "Horror Pony". They're based off the horrors from Cataclismo. Despite their appearance, they're a big sweetheart whose specialties are farming and healing magic.
I wanted to draw Hyacinth all prettied up in a wedding gown. It was a "draw a big comfy horror horse in a gown" kind of night

I got really drunk (2 drinks trashed me tn, lol) and drew Hyacinth in the forbidden pants.

Sometimes you just want your comfort character in a suggestive pose with some fun outfit on.

"You think I should wear these pants, dear? They feel a bit garish..."

So people (me) often ask the artist (also me) what I'd add to Hyacinth if I didn't have to worry about balancing or logistics (since they're a DnD character/class).

The answer most often given (also by me) is generally some sort of building-related caste because I'm a slut for RTSes.

Have a good sleep, won't you, dear?

(Old art)

A while ago there was a trend of having your comfort character punch a nazi. Here's my comfort character using what they have on-hoof. That mace head probably weighs like 40-50 pounds all on its own.

...And yes I know I drew the swastika the wrong way around. Oops.

As a sort of capstone of Puppetposting, here's a basic height chart of every puppet type, and Hyacinth themselves.

(Note that these sizes assume a standard pony is 3' 3", or roughly 100cm.)

Now that all the puppetposting is done, have a big Hyacinth hug. Everyone needs a hug sometimes, after all.

Puppetposting #7: Praetors

The largest of Hyacinth's spawned puppets, and perhaps the strongest. Each Praetor carries three tentacles, which it can attack with directly or slide free of its body for greater range. The tentacles are capable of siphoning blood or lifeforce if they impale a target.

Puppetposting #6: Deltas

The least common of any light puppet type, Deltas produce curious psionic barriers that blur the lines between physical constructs and magical shields. This ability to form solid objects so easily makes them indispensible as sources of tools or protective skinshields.

Puppetposting 5a: Wisps

When a Totem has enough magical spirits conjured, they may coalesce into a Wisp. Wisps lose their expendability in exchange for limited independence, allowing them to strike with magical attacks or unleash dazzling bursts of psionic light that disorients attackers.

Puppetposting #5: Totems

The heavy casters of Hyacinth's clan, Totems are much heavier duty and can unleash far more powerful spells such as weathermancy, earth shaping, or large-scale crowd attacks. When injured, they release magical spirits they can expend to alter a spell's performance.

Puppetposting 4c: Pustules

Pustules are the heaviest subpuppet type spawned by Reconcilants. Their blister sacs carry excess acid that the Pustule than either spit up, or violently burst outward. Pustule acid is most commonly applied to Imps' talons, giving them an acidic edge.

Puppetposting 4b: Arrays

With the wings of a pegasus and a quill-ridden eel's tail, Arrays are one of the most perplexing subpuppet types. Spawned by Reconcilants, Arrays love organizing themselves into large squads, blasting any foe they run into with communally-casted chain lightning.
May 19, 2025 at 6:37 AM
Puppetposting 4a: Imps

The most common subpuppet type to come from Reconcilants, Imps are typically only found in great numbers. Their taloned limbs allow them to peck at any opponent with quick, stabbing strikes, and it's not unlikely for dozens of Imps to gang up on a single large target.

Puppetposting #4: Reconcilants

Perhaps the caste of puppet to most closely resemble their mother, Reconcilants can produce one of a hoofful of different subpuppets when injured. This fact, paired with their great durability, size, and large figure, makes them excellent cover for smaller puppets.

Puppetpostng 3a: Heralds

Subpuppets spawned in limited numbers from Howitzers, the scaly faced Herald is the best spotter a creature could ask for. Their sticky, snotlike spit is extremely flammable, mixing into a napalm-like substance when a Howitzer's combustible shells strike it.

Puppetposting #3: Howitzer

While their gangly appearance and clumsy gait might suggest they are cumbersome creatures, Howitzers are constantly figuring out ideal bombardment trajectories and take great pleasure in dispensing heavy fire from long ranges.
May 18, 2025 at 9:40 PM
Puppetposting #2: Trickster

Tricksters are in essence the magical counterpart to Manipulators, and are only slightly less common. Individually unimpressive but employed in great numbers, a horde of Tricksters is a potent magical force, especially when they coordinate communal spell casts.
May 18, 2025 at 8:22 PM
Puppetposting #1: Manipulator.

Manipulators are some of Hyacinth's most common puppet types, distinguished by their three-fingered hands. Smart enough to employ tools and weapons, or even put together their own, they are a versatile light caste good for manual labour.
