More like the coefficients of other clubs collectively matter, but your own doesn't. Let's say RM/FCB/PSG/etc somehow end up in all 4 pots. Whether a minnow or a big club, it could get shafted by drawing 8 big clubs. So a big club in Pots 2-4 just increases the chance of other club getting shafted

Difference is that with most jobs, you can take a couple days off without giving any reason, whereas in this case it's more like a summer school camp, but I would personally let a kid miss a day to go to their sisters wedding
