Let's stop calling it "acting" and call it what it is: lying.

To be fair, a lot of open source software on Linux is not up to part with proprietary stuff only available on Windows or Mac. Not any fault of the operating system, but it can be a deal breaker for people that need that sort of stuff.

I like that I can fine tune it to just have exactly the programs I need with no bloat or data telemetry. It works well as long as you aren't needing any professional software like Adobe. Interestingly I have found it can also run some games better vs. Windows but this can be a mixed bag.
