My brother was never warned. No conversation. No chance to say no. He would’ve never agreed to this if he’d known. Please if your vet mentions Zorbium, ask questions.
There are safer alternatives.

They have nothing to compare it with to say "it's not normal."

Fight for Felix. You can see current data at Zorbium.com keep spreading the word. I feel for you and your brother. Many of us were not told. 🖤

Seizures are definitely a side effect of Zorbium. The drug was not tested on kittens. Please file a complaint with Elanco, and the FDA. It's the only way we can try and stop this drug. You can find side effects here: zorbiumlawsuit.com/research/

It's NOT like VCA doesn't know about this drug! They have been sued, and put on notice. I hope your boy is ok.

TL;DR:
Zorbium is a topical opioid sometimes used after neuters/spays. It can cause severe side effects in cats — seizures, vomiting, hypothermia, loss of appetite, and more.

Please don’t let your vet use it.
Ask for other pain control options.

Zorbium is killing cats, mine included. There is a facebook group that is very active and taking action. Please be sure to report this to the FDA. Right now the FDA reports include 13% of reports are deaths.

It may be the same drug, but it in no way acts the same as a transdermal. That may be why vets are giving it out like candy. However, the side effects, including death, are severe.

Thank you, it was a horrible experience. Hugs to Dongalor (great name). Feel free to spread the word, the lawyer I did speak to said Social Media was the best way to stop the drug.

Zorbium® was approved in January of 2022. See zorbium.com/in-the-news/

Vets are not fully informed of the dangers. Report all adverse events to the FDA. The more there are, the more we can fight. Sorry about your fur baby. I lost mine after receiving the drug.

Report this to both Elanco and the FDA. It's the only way we can track the drug and complain. So sorry to read, this I hope he is better today.

Keep a close eye on him. Zorbium is for post operative surgery and comes with some serious side effects.
