Saturday, we visited House on the Rock for the first time. It was an experience. By the time we were done my eyes hurt. I’m glad we went tho. I had no idea what to expect other than the Carousel. One room left me speechless as I tried to absorb it. So bizarre.

I know I only post my dog, flowers, etc. I just can’t get into anything deeper rn. I am exhausted with, well everything. I hope at some point the American pendulum swings the other direction.

I am sitting quietly outside with my dog, I glance up to catch a large migration of Nighthawks. There was no sound and I might not have even noticed since I was so focused on the hummingbirds right in front of me. Sometimes you gotta look up!

My veggie garden this year is disaster but look at these gloriously sweet tomatoes and raspberries!

Not sure the cause but my favorite apple tree (dwarf Macintosh) has only about a dozen apples this year 😐
