I was also skeptical and considered skipping but took a chance. Pleasantly surprised the battle system is a big switch up and quite enjoying it.

With all that said I will be buying a switch 2 for Legends ZA and the fighting mechanics do look cool, but I know I’ll ultimately be left longing. Onto Gen 10 and hoping for the best!

Bring back that Professor Ivy energy of watching semi-magical animals interacting in their habitats! What happened to ecology? Studying breeding mechanics with Elm? Studying the impact of climate on convergent evolution?? Oh I long for the days of yester-year.
