Do you know how far you can walk and be sure of not getting PEM? If so, make sure you state this. If they insist on physical test, I'd suggest you walk that far *and no further*. When you get that far, tell them you need to sit down *now*; sit on the floor if you have to. Best wishes with it.

It took me from doing 4 stairs to 8 before having to stop (pain). Didn't obviously impact on other areas of life, so I stopped. But currently rethinking and hoping to try it again.

So much that's great re heat pumps, but for those of us on ultra low incomes they may cost way more to run. I use gas boiler only when freezing versus 24/7 for HP. Had to revert to gas (w/real sadness). Still great fan of HPs - BUT we need to be honest about those for whom they aren't a solution.
