The gift my kids had ordered for me arrived today. I always admired him and the loss of his voice saddened me. So I look forward to reading it (probably through some tears). What a great thing they did for his memory.

I am very much used to being the behind the scenes person in my work and so I was extremely flattered to have the President of the Canadian Association of Pathologists recognize my contribution. What an amazing honour.

Didn't have the energy to start the soup last night so the house smells yummy again. I honestly think I roast the turkey just for the soup... and to disguise the fact that our Xmas plates were loaded with mostly stuffing and cranberry and a gallon of gravy.

I just got in from a walk.

There is one present under the tree for the cats. And she is sitting on it.

Not even a gift with catnip lol. But they pulled it out somehow

Pretty... but I really don't feel like shovelling. Maybe I will hide until it melts....

The one who doesn't care is also pretty and seems to be helping her a bit

When one cat dies and her closest friend keeps waiting for her so they can eat together.... sadness.
