Grave: i did not expect this view about wwii, the apathy. No thing can replace a family. This is not only a lesson about violence but one of compassion. The worst enemy of this kids were their own people (and being too young in an adults world). It's even harsher. Emotional appeal but necessary tho.

Laputa: Another surprise, funny ride, slapstick humor, fluid animations and the stuff i like, nature and technology dichotomy. Dola's gang is the best (except the simping Sheeta scenes). Noticed how influential was this on Zelda. The music when they arrive, just mindblowing. I was so into this trip.

Nausicaä. I instantly loved this, it's a masterpiece even when i consider this is kind of a proto Mononoke. i'm really impressed the first Ghibli movie (not released but officially catalogued) was this good. It's my pacifist, nature stuff i love. Breaking the violence circle deserves this ending btw
