It's Bandcamp Friday and we put out an album just over a month ago. TODAY ONLY that album is $1 or if you wanna pay us more we will take all our sweet sweet bandcamp revenue to spend on backroom retirement center poker nights. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR VICES.

If you're a one-album-at-a-time person like me, streaming services make no sense for you. I listened to Wave by Antonio Carlos Jobim every day for like a month. I could have bought it instead! Or just got it free from the library.

Society never should have fallen for the wicked temptation of so-called "streaming services". They have jazz CDs at the library!

The disc drive in my childhood Wii died, so I replaced it. The Wii, I mean. Wiis are so abundant they aren't really worth fixing right now. Anyway, I bought the cheapest, dirtiest Wii on eBay. No cords, no controllers, missing all the plastic flaps. But it was somebody's family Wii.

Ever wonder why most people need glasses? Well, it's because we evolved to be naturally nearsighted for our own mental health. You don't need to worry about whatever's going on there.

Very few pieces of music have ever come close to doing as much mental damage to me as "Have Another Espresso" by Shel Silverstein. Once you hear it, you will forevermore be possessed to have yourself another es presso

Great set of Nancy dailies from 1944. Love the joke about nylons that really dates it to the war years

Plus:
- Sluggo's baldy bean: under attack
- Nancy "photo bombing" a Kodak brownie picture
- Surreal rocking horse imagery
- Dog joke
- "City pests"

Yes folks, these are all winners.

Of the many baffling views espoused by older generations, a relatively inconsequential one I just don't get is their apparent disdain for Bossa Nova-- possibly the highest form of human expression-- and its use in public places (e.g. elevators, lobbies, stores). Bring it back!

The dearth of beautiful isometric icons depicting grey or beige office equipment in today's society is likely the foremost cause of the many ills which plague us.
