Especially as on each given frame, given a current input, the most likely next input is still almost always going to be the same as the previous input, so you just end up with rollback again. A false action hitting the server and being rolled back is worse than a false non-action being rolled back.

Many of my friends with weaker hardware have reported way better performance after season 1 dropped

That is not what unbalanced means…
The game offers constant freshness and the sense that there is always more to discover about it, all while shaking things up with brand new kits added. Finding success in chaos is skill, swapping heroes to beat others is too. More is better for that.

Strong allies is one of the most useful things one can have in this world. A shame Trump doesn’t get that, instead being an egomaniac who feels the need for complete control instead of basic diplomacy

To me it sorta depends, i call pf2e dnd to laymen when talking about my hobbies and if they inquire further i explain it actually is something else but very similar and drop the real game. Cyberpunk RED i refer to as the cyberpunk ttrpg, as the franchise is somewhat known to non-geeks

Can you post a list of games that turned 24 in 2024 as well? 😎

Miku was «confirmed» for fortnite so despite not really being that much of a fortnite person, I hopped on. Gotta admit the sniper-free season with katanas and japanese-styled map was a neat idea.
Helldivers 2 has also been seeing logins more.
I also finished Fields of Mistria yesterday.

You’ll only be stomped for lack of tanks and supports if you refuse to play them. And if people wanna play their characters and not flex at all then in my opinion they *should* lose more games than the flexible players

Co-operation is a skill and therefore the better team with more flexible players win, sounds like a w to me

The early pacing has really aged poorly, but if you push through the games pacing and combat both really open up after you defeat Orochi!

Same, I wanted to replay Okami a while back and actually found it very challenging because of the same reason (never finished the playthrough)
So I am happy I found the game when I had that patience because it ended up as one of my favorites of all time!

Older games were far more likely to go that way, Twilight Princess arguably follows the same pacing for example, Wind Waker too. Maybe it just became par for the course for puzzle-dungeon-boss action adventure games around that time

In both your and the games defense, the first few hours are paced ridiculously slowly. I tend to say the game only starts once the first major boss has been defeated (and by this i am referring to the actual second boss)
Once you make it there is when the game goes from eh to amazing
December 14, 2024 at 3:10 PM
Oh wait you’re referring to the actual intro story sequence, haha yeah that one is absurd
December 14, 2024 at 3:04 PM
The game follows that kind of pace honestly for quite a long time, I would argue the pace only picks up after the first major boss fight, a little similar to how Twilight Princess was paced

I forgot the last few words, add «being over» to that last sentence
December 13, 2024 at 2:47 PM
«My impression of you has always been…» keeps honesty while establishing that you are just stating your own opinion
