I actually agree with her with the protagonist bit.
I would've enjoyed gen 5 much more if you played as N, rather than a character thats both a nobody and the most important person at the same time.

The visuals and vibe of this game make it such a pleasant experience despite the dull gameplay. Kinda crazy how pokemon went from the best visuals on the 3ds to embarrassing on switch lol

Yeah this destroyed the balance of the game. Giving you another starter is already too much but theyre also mega?? And they later give you a mega lucario for free?? Game plays itself at that point
