To be honest with the way the world is at the moment the onion doesn't feel like satire anymore, unfortunately half their headlines at the moment are indistinguishable from real life ones with the stupidity of the world.

People are self absorbed and ignore things in front of them, always is and always will be. We have to just put our anger, annoyance away a little and let them help us fight. I understand it can feel crappy but if we keep saying I told you so, people are fickle and just u-turn right back.

Yeah lives have been ruined and lost already but if we say now it is too late, then people who have fought and died for their basic right to exist will have died in vain. It may be grim today but we need to keep fighting, we need to continue if not for us today, for the future us, at the very least.

Also for anyone who may need a reminder just because you aren't friends with someone or you really dislike someone, doesn't mean you can't still fight to protect each others rights.

Blocking shouldn't be something you have to defend, a block or unfollow or w/e can be for any reason so don't worry.

Oh and Jessica Watkins was part of Jan 6 she is a oath keeper who is trans I believe currently still in jail, she got a long sentence.

I think they are basically saying if as a trans person you betray everyone else then you get welcomed with open arms by the right.... only thing tho is that won't last for long they will be turned on, but by that point there will be nowhere left to turn.

Well I am looking on the bright side of things and really excited to see trump lose spectacularly....then hopefully by Jan 20 we will see Harris going into the white house and trump going to jail as there will be no get out of jail card left.

I don't even see how this is even about trans people. I am sure I have heard of older people before, maybe not as common now about teenagers but still with babies/toddlers, make comments like 'aww she is such a young thing isn't she'. I am sure it is just a term older gens use/d.

I have seen that some people that have been suggesting that most of the polls are being herded for what ever reason, but there is also the possibility some may have been using AI chatbots to imitate voters to come up with some polls. If that is true it could explain it. I guess time will tell.

I have to say it is a terrible idea and could cause real harm to people (eg stalkers etc) but on the flip side maybe easier to see and awful things nasty people say and hold them accountable in some way, like in courts etc. Tho still awful thing.
