I can admit when I'm wrong, I'm wrong a lot. It confused the hell out of me.

Often I think it's because they don't have the ability for snappy comebacks. They can't think of things in the moment and because they assume they're more intelligent than other people it must mean that anyone who does is scripted.

The only thing I can even think of is that people think I'm better at improv than I actually am.

Although the people at my private DnD group who have watched vampires agree what this is just me when I play DnD.

Vampires is not scripted, we are not given story beats. It's purely a character within a framework of rules like any other larp, then the best bits are chopped up and made into dramatic videos.

I go into each session with an idea of what I want to do and sometimes even that doesn't happen.

I've played some VtM, it wasn't specifically something I was referencing, but there are parallels I can see. The code is different to the traditions but both are there to keep vampire society secret.
