TIL iOS Simulator will attempt to activate Bluetooth when a user tries to log in to a site using a QR Passkey. However, the simulator itself doesn’t actually establish a Bluetooth connection, rendering Passkey logins ineffective in the iOS Simulator.

Last full work week for me until next year! 😊With so much "use or lose" PTO time with the reduction of PTO carry-over to 2026, I decided to work "part time" for the month of December. 4 day weekends till January with 2 full weeks off mixed in.

I’m trying to upgrade my Mastodon server from 4.4.3 to 4.4.8 since yesterday waiting for yarn to run its update. Currently the yarn process is running at 200% CPU, 0% memory, and been going on for 10+ hours. Any ideas? #freebsd #mastoadmin

NVD is borked! San Francisco IP address shows a CVE as Not Found, multiple people confirmed, including myself via VPN. I stop my VPN and go out locally and wham NVD shows the CVE just fine. :)
