Like she's also forgetting Gramps couldve died there too, but the end goal would've been the same. Also vise versa. Her friend could've lived and he died, but would the reaction be the same? Obviously a more senior Water Caste member is more valuable than a Guevessa, right? For The Greater Good.

Water Grandpa holding his tongue there. I think it was wise to just let her vent, but its very obvious she is not thinking clearly. Gramps is right, this does the most good for the collective. Such is the Greater Good... Maybe she's been spending too much time with the Auxilaries...

This is so sad, but understandable. Sometimes its such a hard pill to swallow for some Imperial worlds that they were left abandoned centuries ago and they just double down on their beliefs, thinking that maybe one day theyll be rewarded. When in reality, the Imperium didnt even remember or care.

The only difference is that the Imperium just kills you in the best case scenario. The Tau never let a good body and mind go to waste. In the best case scenario for a Tau you just~ Take a break for a bit, but you get to come back, better and more focused than ever. 🙂

Of COURSE, he'd save her. He KNOWS her. The issue is unless you're someone like Aun'shi that commands respect from everyone, if you're some no name Ethereal, the Aux's wont REALLY care about you. Especially if you dont ingratiate yourself to them. Aux's need a reason to follow a leader, Tau don't.

The even more fucked up thing is, it wouldn't even be that hard now in the curent timeline. There's already a religion of the Tau'va and now more than ever there's so many Human worlds abandoned by the Imperium due to the great rift that many would just easily give in, much to the Ethereals chagrin.

This is so funny, because while Im just Water Gramps isn't aware of it, there's been sooo many times the Tau would be willing to let millions die to protect the image of their greater good. What Im saying is, fuck Aun'Va.

I love it too. It really is interesting seeing how the Tau are picking up more Human behavior. I think it helps too that they live shorter, so more generations are more quickly exposed to human culture.

Id imagine as the Human/Tau Culture continues to mix, stuff like this will just happen more and more. Like even in the latest time line I know older Tau hate how younger Tau are adopting more Human mannerisms. I do wonder what Humans have picked up from the Tau though.

Realistically speaking, probably not? Considering Humans and Tau have easily co-existed for a long time and Tau's just superior medical tech, any form of genetic like virus or germs would've have long been sorted out or/and vaccinated for by the Tau.

Like I think back to when Guilliman and Eldrad talked and how BAD Guilliman walked into all the bad social phopahs. Makes me think the Water Caste would have their work cut out learning ALL of the Eldars exentric social norms and landmines.

I sorta remember reading that the Eldar consider the Tau a bit like a small child that needs guidance almost like a younger sibling. Like they are on friendly terms iirc, which is cool especially cause with all their customs and rules, Im sure Water Caste would LOVE the challenge.
