Kinda wild though the shitty luck you've been having with your PC! If I lived even remotely close to you I'd offer to meet up with you someplace to try and figure out what exactly has been going wrong with it, cause it's such a strange set of symptoms.

Assuming it's the 16GB variant of the 5060 Ti, and that your 6800XT was working normally, those two cards should have equivalent performance. I'd avoid the 8GB variant of the 5060 Ti though, it loses ~20% performance over the 16GB, even when not VRAM limited.

I'm not entirely sure why the inauguration has been held on 11 November since 1997. I do know that it coinciding with Armistice Day came up in 2018, and the timing of the ceremony was delayed by 6 hours so government officials could attend the centenary in France.

If they're setting it post-ME3, they're still going to have to grapple with which of the four endings is canon. Unless it's set in Andromeda, which would be pretty cool and I think there's a lot of untapped potential there.

Hasn't it clashed with Poppy Day for every inauguration since 1997?

There's definitely an element of that. A lot of it is also pure tribalism, some stemming from The Troubles, and some from the partition. It's sad, it's limiting, holding on to that past hatred and division.

As someone from NI, the whole language situation here is utterly bonkers to me. That some people are so threatened by a language that is origin for the vast majority of placenames within the province is just sad. Irish is a beautiful language, and I wish I had the opportunity to use it more often.

In most of Ireland we have a phrase for what this columnist at the Times has written. The Brits are at it again.

I just watched The Drumhead the other day, and have a question you haven't covered. What set was used for the court room? Was it a new one, or was it a redress of the Battle Bridge or Sickbay?

They're also quite specific in their language, they say not stored on the delivery person's device, but say nothing about not storing it on Uber's servers, or any third party processing partners. I don't trust Uber with any of my IDs, any more than I trust any of those age verification providers.

As a convention organiser you are responsible for the safety of all of your guests and attendees during an event. Your big name guests shouldn't need to organise and bring their own security staff, in order to try and guarantee their safety.
