A work in progress drawing of our lord and “gayvior” taylor swift during an eras tour performance of vigilante shit. The drawing is based on a photo of taylor sitting on The Chair, legs crossed, one hand on her knee, the other holding the mic by the side of the chair. It’s in like 3/4 profile, and is a lower angle where you can see the bottom of the chair and one of the shoes, also part of the stage. Currently taylor has no face but everything else about her person is almost completely rendered. Her hair and right hand are lacking in rendering though. rip taylor. The chair is basically still a sketch atp. You can also see color swatches on both sides of the figure, and there is a thick white outline around the entire figure. The background is currently a dark purple but that will change.

half of a halved avocado sits in the center of a dusty pink background which gradients from lighter to darker(top left to bottom right). a purple shadow is cast from the avocado. it was painted in an impressionistic style because the artist is a van gogh hoe. zlt combined into one letter signature in the bottom right corner in a light purple. oh yeah, also it’s a square composition lol

2 images from a project i did for my digital photography class last year. we had to take 100 unique pictures of a piece of paper. you couldn’t deface it w/markmaking, but you could fold, crease, burn, wet it, etc.

if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."
