The Party has agreed to allow Liberal Voice for Women stands at conference for a while now. This allows members to learn about the issues, debate, join our group etc in person. We have run stands successfully at the last 3 conferences for example.

Liberal Voice for Women is a Lib Dem Party Body consisting of Lib Dem members and supporters advocating for women's rights and child safeguarding within the Lib Dems. We are not a Lib Dem Affiliated Organisation if that's what you mean?

Mark was copied into correspondence from May onwards about this issue, so it is a very fair question to ask why this change was made at this point given the issues were self-evident 6 months ago.

It is a good job 2.7 contains this override to ensure lawful elections can be conducted that comply with the Equality Act.

Thanks for amplifying the voices of women around the world whose rights are under attack. Some of those women were at FiLia this weekend to describe their experiences from Afghanistan and Iran. Sadly they had to walk over broken glass to enter the conference in Brighton. bsky.app/profile/wome...
