The thing that cracked my egg was finding out the same info that Dorris did in those last two panels.

The only thing I miss from twitter is muting retweets from individual accounts.
It's weirdly common where I enjoy some people's posts, but not stuff they repost
e.g. Reposting reactions to bigotry, and now my feed just has surprise bigotry
But it's not common enough to turn off reposts for everyone

I was actually taught by someone who was doing subQ as well!
I also switched to subQ a few years back when I had to move to twice a week injections, because of how it's better with pain and has a more forgiving selection of injection sites.

Oh yeah, those ones don't have the replaceable needles >< nevermind then

Ah, sorry!
I've been told that it makes the penetration much less painful and take less physical effort to do.
It was emphasised a lot to me by my doctors, but I know of a few people who weren't told this and had an easier time after switching.

Sorry for the random reply to an old post!
I was told to use a different gauge needle for drawing the meds and then changing to a different needle when injecting.
Partly because it's easier to draw with a larger one, and also because using a fresh needle makes the actual injection smoother.

The ratio between km and miles is close to the golden ratio, which is approximately the ratio between sequential numbers in the Fibonacci sequence (add previous 2 numbers for next one)
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34...
5 miles = 8km
8 miles = 12.8km ≈ 13km
21 miles = 33.7 km ≈ 34km
210 miles = 337km ≈ 340km
