Unfortunately, Michaux didn't consume psychedelics under the right conditions. The context in France at the time was VERY FAR from questions of set and setting, and the experience was therefore always rather negative for him. It's important to know this background to better understand his work 🤗

have an account of their experience, but according to Anais Nin it was great 🤗Janiger was also one of the first Westerners to study the effects of DMT. In particular, he administered it to the poet Allan Watts, known in these circles for talking non-stop for hours on end under LSD or psilocybin... 😆

if I'm allowed to share this with you 🤭I went to their Wikipedia page and there's no mention of this experience ^^). The man's a bit exhausted he only slept two hours, but he's enthusiastic, looking to see what LSD can do for him as an artist. The woman says she's a little more worried. I don't

Harm reduction must replace punitive drug policies
The so-called war on drugs has failed. In the last century, countries have increasingly attempted absolute prohibition of drug use, often via penal measures. Despite global action, these policies have not deterred drug use: we have reached record levels of “abuse, illicit cultivation and production and manufacture of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances”, as acknowledged at the 2024 UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs. Drug trafficking networks have become increasingly sophisticated and violent, and deaths related to drug use have increased.
