Oh. Because at the end of the day, they gain more by eventually giving in. Threats of violence and hate are very good motives to seek profit over pride. I don't agree with it, but çe la vie. We must fight on regardless of what the mainstream media, and educate people through word of mouth!

Agreed! I think a lot about it is fighting the fear and misinformation witb kindness and information!! But everything in modersation, there's still plenty of bad-faith actors who are literally evil. But like I tried to say earlier, it's our education system, and we fix it by educating our peers!

I'm currently trying to work on my Aunt, cause I really don't want to cut ties!! I'm hoping I can, but my Mom gave up on her already and I'm being challenged hard trying to recondition her to trust my word over Fox and Friends..... Idk if I'ma be able to do it, but finna try till I burn out!!

I personally think it's nuanced! I think there's a lotta people who thought they were getting good information but can't tell the difference!! We have a 20% illiteracy rate among adults, and something like 40% are at/lower than a 6th grade reading level!! We do have to hold them accountable, tho!

I'm not a super huge fan of this. This is gonna make a hierarchy where people who are verified will hold more weight over those who aren't. I don't care how big my following gets, I'm leaving if I can't get verified and am then vilified.

I'd also like to address this. We are in a position those old leaders were in. We the People MUST rise up and choose new leaders who WILL fight for us. Who WILL represent us! Some of these current leaders may be allowed to stay, but most must go. And they must be paid minimum wage (my idea)

At the end of the day, the only change we can affect as individuals is slow and steady. You have to scream a lot to cause this kinda avalanche.

Whatever I take from this conversation will be used to educate more people to create a better community and a better world. It's slow work and I don't think I can change most minds, but it's worth a try and I'll learn a lot in the process.

Restoring our public education system and actually educating people takes priority over everything, hence why I've engaged so long with you. Either I'm the learner or teacher, oftentimes both. WE the People have to make up for the difference and talk to and educate as many people as possible.

Nobody is truly stupid, only uneducated or stubbornly obstinate. We have a 20% illiteracy rate among adults, and 40% (if I remember that right) read at a 6th grade level or something. We have to make up for Reagan sabotaging the education system, which just now got dismantled.

Yea, but like-- things change when people get mad and agitated, and as more of the middle class dissappears, more people get agitated. It's just cyclical and hopefully, we can start fixing this. Every country that lives long enough goes through this!!
