Proud to have cast my vote for Daniel Carlino for Ward 3 in Missoula City Council!
This is probably the most important race in the city, as it is between someone actually on the left (Carlino) and a landlord/house-flipper masquerading as a progressive so she can protect her landlord money (Savage)

Day 21 of our Honeymoon:
Erin & I watched the sunrise over the Mediterranean, then caught a 10-hour flight stateside.

Day 21 of our Honeymoon:
Erin & I watched the sunrise over the Mediterranean, then caught a 10-hour flight stateside.

We got a couple's massage in the morning, napped, read, then visited Nice for a stroll. Then we closed off the night w/ dinner on a cliff face as fireworks went off over the Mediterranean.

Day 20 of our honeymoon:

We got a couple's massage in the morning, napped, read, then visited Nice for a stroll. Then we closed off the night w/ dinner on a cliff face as fireworks went off over the Mediterranean.

This was the quietest day yet. We went to a beach club & relaxed all day. Erin read her book (Stormlight Archives), and I "tanned" (an impossibly difficult task for my marshmallow self).

Day 19 of our honeymoon:

A deeply challenging hike up & over some very Arizona/SoCal-type terrain, which led us to a deep inlet on the Mediterranean.

Arles: from Ligurians to Phoenicians to Greeks to the Romans to French, the city was steeped in so much history. Erin & I spend the day walking between Roman & medieval architecture, exploring paths that monks & Vincent Van Gogh shared.

I don't know why jumping into the water from a cliff is so fun, but I always love it.
And a fun little Zooey fact is that back in college, cliff jumping (& bridge jumping) was how I conquered my fear of heights 😤

We rented a paddle boat & took it into the river at the Gorges du Verdon.
The canyon was stunning, and there were cliffs to jump from! Erin & I swam/ jumped for hours. It was so fun! 😭

We rented a paddle boat & took it into the river at the Gorges du Verdon.
The canyon was stunning, and there were cliffs to jump from! Erin & I swam/ jumped for hours. It was so fun! 😭

Paragliding was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Towards the end, the pilot asked if I was comfortable doing some tricks (I said yes, obvi)
So he had us doing some wild turns & loop-dee-loops. It was my favorite part 😭

We said goodbye to Annecy today & what a goodbye it was! Paragliding over the lake that we spent the last week exploring.
