I don't agree with this. I've tried it in the past and was more frustrated because cards weren't doing enough by themselves, they were stuck in hand or were just waiting to be boardwiped. In 100 card decks and having 3 other players, I think it's more important to have higher impact cards.

I honestly wasn't a believer in boros until we drafted and played this. It still struggles against UG ramp decks, but it can hold it own. Nebula Dragon is really good honestly, Shepard makes you think about sequencing a lot more and Trooper in the late game is just a house.

Pauper is also something I want to try out, just haven't had the time to go to the weekly league event yet. Format looks sweet, diverse, competitive and actually like magic.

I've actually had a really good time playing Arena limited when Final Fantasy came out, I love discovering a new format and figuring out what works. It's re-envigorated my love for the game a lot.

As someone who has never played Pauper what deck would recommend I play (been playing Magic for about 6 years)

The campaign to get people to play your Ornithopter cube has already started don't worry, just takes time to get people on board :D
