My personal speculative hypothesis is that most Republicans who saw photos and videos of the East Wing routinely watch brain rot right wing propaganda and generally blindly believe what it says. If so then, to be blunt, they aren't the Republican audience we care about. They are lost souls.

service are, from the time when they are required to respond to the call, subject to the laws and
regulations governing the Army or the Air Force, as the case may be, except those applicable
only to members of the Regular Army or Regular Air Force, as the case may be.” In other
words, Congress designed the militia calling-forth authority to enable the President to use
National Guard only in the same manner that he may make use of the regular military forces (and
only if and when those regular forces are unable to ensure sufficient execution of federal laws)—
not as a backdoor that would invite the militarization of law-execution in cases where Congress

For all the harm social media has done politically, it is truly a game changer for collecting and amplifying videos and photos recorded by *anyone* for use as evidence in court. Literally crowd sourcing.

Building is always harder than destroying. I'd bet it never actually gets finished in any usable capacity. I'm sure those in the field have some good ideas once we start to understand the supply chain of materials, delivery and labor.

Clearly the administration uses Signal because disappearing messages mean everything is off the record in their strange incoherent reality. That isn't new, but we have another confirmation now. Halligan may legitimately (but incorrectly) believe this is true based on what others model.
