The success of the Deck definitely helped prove that SteamOS and Proton are worth people's time and effort

It's certainly helped me see the practicality, and I'm ready for a desktop build of SteamOS for my other computers (not counting Bazzite)

I haven't attempted to write anything musically or lyrical in so long

Actually fucking insane and stupid in equal measure

That's surveillance state shit masquerading as "safety"

Everyone who backed that should resign and go get their dementia meds

None of this means I have any intent to get a Steam Frame, but it's really fun to think about.

...also the new Steam Controller looks pretty much like it's what I would want it to be and I'm here for it.

...aaaand welcome back, Steam Machine. You made sense, too.

Wild day, Valve. Wild.

I'm not saying the Steam Frame is going to be the evolution in gaming experiences Valve was looking for to actually produce Half-Life 3, but I do feel like the potential is there...

...and it got me thinking, right?

Half-Life was pushing boundaries of storytelling in 3D FPS games when it came out.

Half-Life 2 was a physics showcase, doing puzzles in whole new ways.

I recall it being said, somewhere, that Half-Life 3 was really waiting for a reason to exist like that.

your music will always hold a special place in my heart and I'm grateful that you still produce any at all, let alone that you see fit to share it with the world
