I think the First Sinner boss is really where I started to get tired. I no longer feel liberated after beating a super tough boss. I just feel exhausted and happy I never have to come back here again. The joy has been beaten out of me. Maybe I just need to take a break.

I'd compare it to Mutant Mudds Super Challenge or Runner3 (pre-patch). Their core concern seemed to be making every part of Hollow Knight way fucking harder but at the cost of being fun.

I probably missed them too. I'm still in Act 2? I think? I don't even really know anymore. I haven't attempted the "challenge" after beating Lace at the top of the elevator. Now I'm just wandering around finding shit and getting gangbanged by bosses.
