Modern media is broadly sexless and reactionaries have seized the levers of power to use a war on porn as justification to destroy queer people (not that it would be anymore valid if it wasn't a justification!) so people need to read the room a little more, and maybe, perhaps, get over things
If anything I haven't seen that many sex scenes in newer movies. Sinners was the last time I saw one, but it's an R rated vampire movie so I would be disappointed if there wasn't one.
